Decisions! Decisions!

Or choices, choices..... Three versions. Haven't decided on which one or even what size. Care to vote?* Whenever faced with such a quandry, I almost always choose "All of the above." However, there are other "parts" to this set so it may not be possible to produce all three styles. We'll have to see as the work progresses. Should all be done by Sunday....at least that's the tentative deadline. Any suggestions anyone? Thanks again. Charlotte * Someone did "care to vote" and sent an email to gg designs. This prompted including the POLL you'll find in the right hand column. >>> Did everything I could think of to get the poll within this post but it's beyond my limited html tinkering capabilities. Sorry!

  1. First, I am not a real turtle fan (or of any of those other creepy, crawly things) but I like the solid image best, probably because I am using a lot of bold solid images right now. However, the one with the "open shell" design would look good stamped in black over a polished stone type background.

  2. Would love to see a sample of that. Since you are not into slimy, creepy things, what would you do with a turtle stamp? Is it just the intrigue of trying it with the polished stone technique?

P.S. Thanks for leaving a comment.

  3. I tried to blog here over the weekend but was away and could not recall my username and password so it got lost. I want to try layering the turtle in different inks so I need all three and that choice is not in the poll. I also wanted a little one for envelopes and inside cards.

  4. Oh gosh! I hope we get to see the results!

But, I need to warn you....though they look very similar, there are differences and if you are talking precise overprinting, I think it will just frustrate you and I don't want that to happen.

The stamps aren't in rubber yet so before you purchase them, let's talk a bit more about what you are planning to do and trying to accomplish.

I really want you to be happy with them.

    Thanks.

  5. Hi Charlotte -- to answer "what would you do with a turtle stamp" - probably won't buy one. Just wanted to comment on the one that caught my eye and why.

  6. Your "probably won't buy one" gives me a chance to say that comments and voting have nothing to do with whether or not you might buy the item. That's not the point. Your opinions are what counts here.

The reasons something caught your eye might give others ideas they hadn't thought of so I really appreciate that you took the time to comment, even on something that isn't your "thing," your interest.

By the way....you won't see me doing snakes any time soon! I don't care for things reptilian either...even though I "know" they're not slimy and even though I've heard thousands of times how beautiful the patterns are, I can't be very inspired when my flesh is getting goose bumps all over! Sorry and my apologies to all the iguana/lizard/snake appreciators out there.

Soft and furry is for me.

Charlotte....Who has one Granddaughter who "protects" her from snakes and another who taunts her with them. (Not real snakes, but pictures and squiggly worm like things.)
