Not Sure How Spring-Like Your Weather Is . . .

But . . . Weather or Not . . .

Yogi Definitely Has a Spring

Attitude

Last post we showed you a card she did using gg designs' tulips...........In the meantime, she did another, with ggd's pussywillows! (We love showing Yogi's work using ggd images...she makes us look so good!)

.
Not only does Yogi have a LOT of spring flower cards on her site, she is showing a number of different techniques using different inks, die cuts and quilling.  Have any of you done this? In addition to being a feast for the eyes, Yogi generously gives step by step instructions for the cards she makes so you can replicate them for yourselves. (Did you know you can also purchase them if you like?)

She follows many blogs and meets many, many challenges posted each month and has gotten very good at designing cards to meet the criteria of a number of challenges at once.

If you have the time, browsing her site is a stamping education whether you are a novice or experienced crafter.

What happened to the "rubber bouquet" plans?

There didn't seem to be a lot of interest so it will be put on the back burner for a bit but in the mean time how about a Mini-spring-challenge?

Visit Yogi's site and pick a technique you'd like to try. Using a gg designs image if you have one (or download one of the flower images from last post) make a card inspired by something you find there.

There will be prizes for this challenge so when you submit a scan of your project be sure to include your mailing information. Use the email link below.

Closing date will be the end of the month but we will post submissions as they come in. Please leave your comments for the artists. We will assign prizes by random drawings but everyone loves a little encouragement so give the participants a big hand!

Thanks, in advance, to everyone for participating.
