POUTING OVER

Pouting Over

Thanks one and all for your participation.

Now.....on to what's next?

Since gg designs rarely produces new stamps any longer, and since we by no means think we bring new expertise to stamping and crafting.......and since there is so much "good stuff" available to read "out there" in the vast Internet/Google/Yahoo/You Tube world of shared knowledge, we think this blog may be overkill.

Our hope was to fill a smaller niche for beginners and people starting out. But, again, there is so much information available, so much knowledge.......it's daunting to add to or even sort through what is up for grabs.

So, once again, we turn to all of you.

We already know all of you are blog readers........many of you write your own blogs. We also know many of you subscribe to many, many blogs.

So.......for the moment.........yet another favor.

Tell us what is your favorite blog (actually your THREE favorite blogs) and why. What is there about them that draws you to them? What is their main focus?

This will help send folks in the right direction to find the information they need to learn the skills they want to acquire.

We will add to this list on an on-going basis for a while. At least until we have a healthy selection to provide choices for everyone at the level they need.

Again......please share with us your favorite, most useful blogs......and the reasons you return to them frequently.

This should make a good resource for "all who enter here."

ggd will start with referring you to the Recommended Sites and Blogs listings in the sidebar of this blog.

And, currently my favorite resource....You Tube. We very much like the "see it, hear it," approach. Demonstrations show so many details that would be cumbersome to write about and would probably get "lost," in any case.

Not all You Tube videos are created equal. Some are frustrating by their poor lighting, camera position, unintelligible sound, and it does take some time to create your own "library" of helpful "studies." But it's one of the marvels of current technology. The videos do have the advantage of their "single focus." You can view only the techniques that truly interest you. And you can weed out the ones that are not as helpful as you would like.

Now, we'll wait to hear from you. Tell us about your favorite blog and also include any special You Tube technique videos you like.

We will list them here to make them available to everyone who checks us out.

Thanks, as always, for your participation.

P.S. Though not a "visual" art, this is my all time favorite You Tube Video. (Many of you have seen this here before.)
