Do You

?

In spite of Alisa Burke's advice ("Unplug") quoted in our last post, ggd is still at it!
Pinterest can be a great place to store ideas, to get inspiration/directions or just to browse.

But, be careful! You can "wake up" after an unintended very long session and discover your morning is gone!

Instead of tempting the fates in the "Internet World at Large" we decided this week to confine our searches, our browsing (for ideas and direction and just for fun) closer to home.

To the bottom of this page, as a matter of fact!

At the very bottom of each post are links lists provided by readers and ggd. They haven't been updated in a while so for the next few weeks we will investigate these links (in no particular order) and, when finished visiting each of these areas, will re-do the list.

It is a great time for you to add your current favorites.

Here are the lists:

The first on ggd's list is about.com rubberstamping written by
               Kate Pullen

We get frequent emails and are embarrassed to admit to deleting more than we read. Our loss! Site is simple, basic and contains lots of "freebies," mostly digital print outs, to use. It's a great place to go to jump start a project.

We first "met" Michael Strong on the Carol Duval Show. Loved the clean, simple designs and the use of paper in his card crafting.

His last blog entry was in November and there are fall holiday images on the opening pages at the moment. Not sure when site will be updated again but it's worth a browse now, in any case. For some projects he provides step-by-step instructions.

We will keep checking for updates.

One of the most complete sources of links to stamp companies, Gingerwood has been around for a long time ans still is a valuable resource. It has over 600 links to rubber stamping sites and also shares art work, projects technique information, etc. If you haven't visited for a while, it's a productive browse.

Next week we will continue to explore this list with three even closer to home looks. (Think Wanda, Michelle and Yogi!)

See you then. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I only go there from a direct lead to see something posted. Avoid looking around. Never registered.
